The rainfall

In Southwest Mississippi recently (January 2013), it rained at some point of the day everyday for almost two weeks. People, me, complained about the gloomy days. Whined about the weather. Spoke of cabin fever. Blah! blah! blah!

Then one day while I was pondering my activities of the day it hit me.

At the end of the year, our annual rainfall will most likely be within one inch of years past. Imagine that ! It has rained for nearly two weeks and it won't even tip the scales. Hmm!

You see, God has everything under control. So when you feel like you are in a hole with no way out. God is in control. When you feel like you are the best thing since sliced bread. God is in control.

Now if you think through what I just said, you see that if you are having a great time in life, it should come to no surprise that the future may hold a few bumps in the road. (I don't put much into that "Prosperity Gospel.) It also means that if you are having a bummer of a time, things are gonna get better.
I believe that God will and does bless me, but not because I deserve it.

The point is...if God can and will control the rainfall in Mississippi, then He will take care of His children!!
